When are used books available?

Used books (Quality and Bargain) are available for purchase if there are any in stock. If there is no option for Quality and/or Bargain for a specific title, it means we are out of stock on used conditions for that title.

When is the best time to purchase used books?

The best time to purchase used books is on the earliest day after the web store opens.

What does "back order" mean?

Back order means that the book title you've ordered is not currently in stock. We plan for the demand of each book title and bring stock into our warehouse in anticipation of the expected number of orders. Occasionally, we receive more orders than anticipated, and we must replenish stock, which takes extra time. When replenishment stock arrives, back orders are fulfilled in the same order in which they were received.

Why are my books on back order?

Your book is on back order because we do not have any available stock of that book. We try to get the books in stock as soon as possible. Though we cannot guarantee a book will be sent to you before school starts, every effort is made to speed the fulfillment of back orders. If a book is out of stock, you should order it as soon as possible, because when stock for that book title does become available, we will ship back orders in the order in which they were received.

What happens to a book on back order?

Books on back order will be billed and shipped to the customer once they come back into stock in our warehouse in the order they were purchased. You will not be charged for any additional shipping or handling costs.
