Order Timelines

Store opening day:

Your school has set a specific day during the summer to open the web store for placing orders. These opening days are usually in June and July. Check with your school or contact MySchoolBookstore.com for more information.

To assure delivery before school starts:

Be sure to order your books at least two weeks (10 business days) before the first day of class. If you choose to pay for your order by check via mail, place your order at least four weeks (20 business days) before the first day of class. Though later orders are rush processed, we cannot guarantee that delivery will be made before the first day of class.

Returned book timeline:

Allow three weeks (15 business days) for your regular return to be processed. Do not confuse regular returns with BuyBacks.

Check payment by mail timeline:

Your order will be approved ten business days after we receive your check. We must receive your check within 10 business days of order submission.  If we do not receive your check within 10 days, your order will be canceled, and any reserved stock will be released back to inventory for sale.  Please allow three weeks for processing from the date we receive your check. Once you mail your check, do not change anything on your order, as this could change the total and end up in further delay of your order.

Money order payment timeline:

We do accept money orders. Once we receive it allow up to 3 business days for an order to be fully processed and ready for shipment.

Credit card order timeline:

Payment by credit card ensures your order is shipped within 3 business days.

Back order timeline:

Backorders are filled immediately upon availability. Once we receive stock, orders are filled by order date and processed within two business days. You will receive an email confirming shipment. If you need to contact us please send emails to contactus@myschoolbookstore.com.

Method of shipment timeline:

We ship in-stock items right away. Allow 1-2 business days for order processing prior to shipment. Allow up to 7 business days for UPS ground shipping. Allow 3 business days for Second Day Air and 2 business days for Next Day Air. Please note that Saturday, Sunday and Holidays are not considered business days.
